  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

Q: I am trying to placed a separator image in between each item in my css vertical dropdown menu. I have placed the image in the seperator field and it will not display. How can I get an image to be a separator in between items on my css vertical dropdown menu?

A: To add a separator you should

You can create separators using menuItems (you can do it in DeluxeTuner, use "Add separator" button), for example:

Q: Another glitch is that the first item on the sidemenu stays dark blue -
even when the mouse is off of it.

A: In your code now you have:
  var pressedItem=0;
Please, set this parameter in the data.js file:
  var pressedItem=-2;


Q: I just discovered your product and I think it is fabulous! I would like to buy it, but have one issue which is strange:

I have a list of 12 items, each with a submenu that is loaded using the ajax technology. The submenues are loaded correctly for the first 8 items, but not for the last 4 items. I can switch items around, always the first 8 only get loaded. Is there a limitation to 8 items?


A: No, there is no such limitation.

Please, check the following parameter:
  var dmAJAXCount=0;

That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.


Q: So, I am still interested if there is a dynamic way to rebuild (and restructure) a menu w javascript, just for interest.

A: No, unfortunately it is not possible to rebuild the menu withoutreloading of the page now. We'll add this feature in the next versionof the menu.
