Q: Why is the submenu a different colour has a different colour than menu items - surely that's not an IE specific feature? The top-level menu items seem to be a different size too, so the layout in IE looks more even.

A: Submenus has a different color because they have a transparency:

  var transparency="90";

Set it to 100.

Submenus also have larger width than top items because they containsmore text. If you want to wrap the text, use
tag between item words.



Q: Is there any reason why I should have trouble positioning the windows popup menu?

A: Check that you don't use absolute position for the menu:

  var absolutePos=0;
  var posX="0px";
  var posY="0px";


Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:

A: Now you have:

  var transparency="";
it is not correct.
You should set, for example:
  var transparency="100";

Try also to set:

  var itemPadding="0px 15px 0px 15px";
