Q: I now have the need to introduce separators on the menu.
Can you tell me how to do that?
I cannot find any documentation telling me how this is done.

You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:

Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: I'm about to create a transparent menu as you can see on the attached photo. I can't find any samples on how to place the cascading navigation bar on an image with 100% opacity. Is it possible...?

A: To create a transparent menu you should set transparent value for the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];




Q: Why do I get the "Incorrect Copyright" message in Internet Explorer 7. I am using Deluxe Menu version 1.14. Shouldn't this support IE5+, including IE7?
