Q: Is it possible to insert a dhtml foldout menu item at the top of the submenu? For example, if a dhtml foldout menu is defined as:
var menuItems = [
["Search","","","","","","1","0"],
["|Residential","srch.php","","","","","0"],
["|VacantLand","srch.php?cri","","","","","0"],
["|Commercial/Industrial","srch.php","","","","","0"]];
How can I add a new item above “Residential?” I’ve tried the following with no luck — the forth argument does not seem to be used:
dm_ext_addItem(0, 1, ["New Sample", "testlink.htm", "", "", "Your Sample Tooltip", "middle", 0], 0)
A: To insert item in the specific position you should use thefollowing function:
function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)
Q: I dowloaded the free trial of this product and I am trying to figure out how to put dhtml pulldown menu into a website that I have built with Homestead.com's Site Builder. I just CANNOT figure out what all I need to do to get it to work.
I am willing to pay for someone to install it or pay for the product but I need to make sure it will work on this site!
A: Unfortunately we don't work with HOMESTEAD.com page builder.
1. upload the folder with all menu files in the same folder with your html page.
2. open the page in your program
3. open html source code of the page
4. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see: http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.htmlQ: Is there a function for flash tab menu a I can call to make a tab appear??
A: You can use the following function to open appropriate tab:
Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.
You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.
For example:
<DIV onClick="dtabs_itemClick(0,2)" style="width: 200px; border: 2px solid #000;">Click to open the third tab</DIV>Q: The dropdown menu works perfect locally, but when hosted it doesnt seen to work, im sorry i dont completly understand what you mean when using the other parameters to make it absolute... here is the html files, and the .js files included in a zip file.
A: Now on your website you have the following code:
["Home","C:\Documents and Settings\Josh\Desktop\Josh\Alsek Website\home.htm", , , , "iframe", , , , ],
["Products","", , , , , , , , ],
["|Lift Kits","C:/Documents and Settings/Josh/Desktop/Josh/Alsek Website/Pages/LiftKits.html", , , , "iframe", , , , ],
...
On your website you're using paths to the pages situated on a localdisk. It is not right.
You can try to write
["Home","pages/home.htm", , , , "iframe", , , , ],
["Products","", , , , , , , , ],
["|Lift Kits","pages/LiftKits.html", , , , "iframe", , , , ],
...
You can also use pathPrefix_link parameter.
var pathPrefix_link = "http://www.domain.com/";
and write
["Home","home.htm", , , , "iframe", , , , ],
["Products","", , , , , , , , ],
["|Lift Kits","pages/LiftKits.html", , , , "iframe", , , , ],
