Q: I just purchased your Deluxe Menu maker. Wonderful tool!  

I have made a menu, uploaded it to my HTML folder at Typepad in the correct place and tried several OTHER places too.  

I have inserted the js snips into the head and body in all permutations of combinations.  

I checked it each time by both opening my site and viewing source.  

The menu is there. But it cannot be seen on the page. Never has been seen. Not even a hint of it being there.  

I tried .js .file   AND .js    AND CSS.  

No menu.  

I checked on four browsers.  

No menu.  

I verified the files are in my index place by copying them to notebook.  

I have done all of the above about 20 times EACH.

It is not correct. You should call dmenu.js file only once.

Please, delete the second code.

There is now engine .js files

and data file on your server.



Q: I'm about to create a transparent menu as you can see on the attached photo. I can't find any samples on how to place the cascading navigation bar on an image with 100% opacity. Is it possible...?

A: To create a transparent menu you should set transparent value for the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];

And really I do not understand this phrase:

- Item ID format has changed. It depends on the parent ID = [parent ID]i[item index].
Examples: for the first level dtree _0i0, dtree_0i1..., for the second level dtree_0i1i0,dtree_0i1i1, dtree_0i1i2...

Where do I fill in?

A: Actually you shouldn't change anything.
This info is for the customers who use these indexes (dtree_0i1i2) only.

Q: I am interested in your dhtml menu product, I did not see any examples using a target attribute for the url, i.e.

Also if this is supported if you could send me an example of how to configure this...


A: You should use the following parameter
  var itemTarget = "_self";

Please, see also individual items targets, for example:
 ["|Features","testlink.html", "default.files/icon2.gif", "default.files/icon2o.gif", , "_blank", , , , ],
Change "_blank" to "" or to "_self".
