  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! I am using the vista images and would like to have all of them but one use the same image
and the last one a different one. Can this be done?

A: You should create Individual Style for the last item and assign another image for it.

Q: I would like to know how to put the items for the popup menu on multiple lines (i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menu item on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1. set

2. use

Q: We have a menu in its own dedicated table row on our website and the table row contains a background image. We want to know if we can make the background on your menu transparent so that you can see our table cell background through the menu.
We have tried using your option to put our image as your menu’s background, but then it repeats for all of the drop downs which we do not want.
We simply want the row of options to be transparent and all of the drop downs to be white.

Is this possible with your system and, if so, how would we go about making this work?


A: You can try to use these parameters:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","#1665CB"];

Or, you can use Individual Item Styles and set images only for the main items.

Try that.


Q: I have placed my horizontal menu in javascript (1003 px width) in a table whose width is 1003px my dropdowns span from extreme left to extreme right (screen shots attached) by default the dropdown is leaving 20 pixels margins on both the ends which disturbs my layout. This happens when my screen resolution is 1024 x 768, when viewed in higher or wide screen monitors this problem does not arise. Please suggest a solution.

A: This is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open engine file for horizontal menu in javascript - dmenu.js - file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.
