Q: Is it possible for dhtml vertical tabs to have a link on page that links to
second page by passes the default setting then selects and displays
the information in the tab you need?
A: You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.
For example:

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.
When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New" and add items and subitems
using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" on the main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters" window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.
So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images
("deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), deluxe-menu.html file and
data-deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.
Open deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows of
code into your page (for example index.html page of your website).
Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

You should also copy "deluxe-menu.files/" folder with all engine files

and data-deluxe-menu.js file into the same folder with your index.html page.

Q: Does horizontal drop down menu works with JSP? How can I do that?
A: Deluxe Menu is the Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you'reusing and it doesn't work on a server side as JSP script.
So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .jsp page.
Q: How do I connect a link (i.e. document) to one of the javascript text menu items.
A: You should add links in the "Link" field of the Item Parameters Window.
