  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: We do need the menuitem separation bars as most of the menuitems are quit lengthy, and there needs to be a separation bar to distinguish between them.

A: If you want to add separators between items you can paste a separatorbetween items or you can set item's border width in the following way:

  var itemBorderWidth="0 0 1 0";
But you cannot enter this value in Deluxe Tuner you should set thisparameter manually.
You can also create style for the last item with border width = 0:

Q: My Deluxe Menu works super.

Anyway, I would like to make it more comfortable for my users.

So, I would like to know if it possible to create a "Multicolumn Menu"

and separate define which submenu should be multicolumn and wich one looks "normal".

You can create "normal" items using separator.

Q: We recently bought your product.

We are developing in ASP.NET (VB) and we have a problem making you deluxe menu dynamic to suit our needs. We are using the Deluxe Menu.

The problem is each time a page with dhtml nav loads, we want to be able to generate the menuItems variable to reflect the options the individual user has, so it can't be hard coded into data.js it MUST be provided by an aspx file and attached somehow. I can't work out how to attach the variable (even a static one) as a separate file, so if you can do it with a static one, we can extend it to a dynamic one later.

For example the JS in the data.js file we want the MenuItem dimension you be loaded in a seperate file, some kind of include.

Q: I've browsed your product, and I'm trying to determine if there is an existing template that would support a vertical flyout menu, where the static menu is one button, but when clicked on, it lays out 5 additional buttons in a straight line horizontally to the right of the static button. Is this feasible to create with your product with relative ease, and if so, what's the easiest way?
