  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: Can I use data from a SQL server using ASP for the dhtml xml menu?

A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: Where do I increase the width of the javascript menu bars for each entry? Some of my links are a bit longer than the image and it's causing it to use part of another gif to cover it. Sorry not sure if I even explained that right. Let me know if this makes sense.

A: I suppose that you're using Vista style templates.

The width of vista images is 94px. If the width of your menu itemis wider than 94px you should correct the width of the images in anygraph editor, for example in Photoshop. You should set the width ofthese images 120px and set the following parameter:

Q: Is it possible to populate a drop down menu trees from a mysql database?

If so do you have an example please before I go ahead and try/purchase.

You can use trial version to test the menu at first. Trial version has full functionalityexcept "Trial Version" nag.

Q: Hi I have been using the trial version with deluxe tuner. The only problem I have had is that I cannot work out how to change the background colour of the menu (how it appears on the page as a menu bar when none of the dropdowns are activated) any help would be appreciated as I am considering purchasing your product but if I cannot change the colour then I am only limited to the sample templates you have supplied
