Q: How to include the search box in the navigation menubar?

A: Use the following javascript menu parameter to enable/disable the "search support" for the Deluxe menu:

  var dmSearch=2;

0-nosearch; 1-ordinary search (within one level of submenus only); 2-recursive (within the whole menu).

Set item's link to "search:", for example:

Q: We are registered user of Deluxe-Menu. We find following query while usingDeluxe-Menu. We are not able to display correctly <Direction Générale> inFrench in down-navigation-menu.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.3.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example

Q: Using data-visa-5.js

Trying to get the menu to start collapsed rather than fully expanded.

Thought it was the   var texpanded=0 setting but doesn't seem to have any effect.

A: See, when you set + sign before item's text that is mean that thisitem will be expanded.
