Q: I'm trying the deluxe menu and I'm positively impressed.

But now I'm trying to simply use javascript to add some properties to my menu.

I modified the dynamic to 1

and I get only one error in the javascript monitor telling me:

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0. (you have written menuInd=1, but if you have one menu on your page you should write 0).
You also have written itemStyleInd=1, but you have only one style in your menu. So you should write "0" or "-1".


Q: I am trying to evaluate the trial version of deluxepopup window.
The script popup works great but I am having a specific requirement of making it amodal window; i.e. when the popup is opened, users shouldn't be allowed to access the main page. Please let me know how to make this happen.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to create modal window using Deluxe Popup Window.It doesn't have such a feature now.

We'll try to add this feature in the next versions.

Q: I would like to add the javascript API to a link contained in my website that will have the corresponding item in the deluxe-tree menu act as if it was "clicked".

Presumably I need to add the script (for example) <A HREF="http://deluxe-menu.com/features-info.html" TARGET="_self" "..javascriptHere ..">. Can you give me an example please of what code goes into there.

I presume I use dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion) but where do I get the ????Ind data from and make the javascript call in the above link.

A copy of a working example together with where to get the data , perhaps on your own web pages, would help.

A: Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

You should define selitem using server side script.



Q: I have another question concerning pop-up windows. If I do the following:

1) Use the Deluxe Tuner to create a pop-up window.

2) Change the location of the gif, css, and js files from all of them being within "deluxe-popup-window.files" to the files being in separate directories and

3) Update the "deluxe-popup-window.js" file and the "jaw_skin_windowsvista_graphite.css" file so that they contain the new directory locations

Will the html window function properly? Thanks for the help.

A: If you change all paths in jaw_skin_windowsvista_graphite.css and deluxe-popup-window.jsfiles correctly your popup window should work fine.
