To open a new window often is not possible, because most users have popup-blockers installed. And to open the contents in the same window drives the user away from the main page! A: You should use _blank. If your browser supports tabs your link will beopened in a new tab (except IE, in IE it will be opened in a newwindow).

Q: If I have a Menu and Tab control on the same page, how do I get the menu pop up to have a higher z-index so it displays on top on the tabs?

You can open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

Change it to

Q: I need a navigation bar dhtml where on the click of certain items, server side code on the page can be called and executed.
