Q: I am working currently with deluxe-menu and am perfectly happy so far except one little thing: Does there exist a way to have the mousepointer being a hand instead of the regular pointer while going over the menu (like it would be regular links)?


A: You should set this parameter:
  var itemCursor="pointer";

In this case you'll have the mousepointer being a hand for all itemsin the menu.

Unfortunately, you can't change cursor type for different items.
But you can write so:

In all items with links you should use <a> tag.

Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:

Q: Do I need to replace the menudir/ in the code with the name of the folder I have placed the .js files?


A: Yes, you should change the name of the folder.

If you have, for example such file structure:

deluxe-menu_files/
    dmenu.js
    data.js

html_pages/
    page1.html
    page2.html

index.html

So, you should install your menu in the following way:

Q: I have used dhtml vertical menu on my site....when I open it in IE it works fine but in mozilla it shifts to right...wht can i do so tht it will be placed at same position in all browers
