Q: I used Deluxe Menu and generated a beautiful drop down navigation menu for our school web page. however, I am using MS FrontPage and apparently it is blocking the content. Whenever I bring it into the program all I get is a text drop down navigation menu. What am I doing or not doing?

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the drop down navigation menuinto your html page:

1. create and save .js file with your menu parameters in Deluxe Tuner
2. open the page in Frontpage
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html

You should copy all engine files and images for the drop down navigation menu in "deluxe-menu.files/" folder and paste it in the same folder with you .html files.

That's all.

It is possible that you'll have errors in the preview but your drop down navigation menushould work fine in the browser.



Q: Hi I have a menu item which has a word wrap on it. The word wrap it auto so instead of saying the following

It says

I need to put either spaces in the title to level it out or a carage return


A: You can use any <html> code within menuItems, for example:

Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
  I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out.  Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

Q: I would eventually like to be able to distribute the javascript navigation menu with some of my templates, is this permitted with the Developer license?

A: With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited numberof Internet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.

This version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.
