Q: Pls help me with another question.

I have an horizontal menu in which the submenus drop down (as in example # 1 you have in your web).

For the first level items (which are horizontal), I do not want item spacing or itemPadding, that is:
  var itemSpacing=0;
  var itemPadding=0;

However, for the second and third level menu items, that drop down, I do need spacing and padding, like this:
  var itemSpacing=1;
  var itemPadding=1;

How can achieve this if, we have only one set of parameters??

A: You should use Individual Styles.

You should set the following parameters:

  var itemSpacing = 0;
  var itemPadding = 0;

and create individual style for submenus
  var menuStyles = [
["menuBackImage=images/subm_back.gif","itemSpacing=1","itemPadding=1"], // add Spacing and Padding to the style which is used for the third level menu items.

Q: I use the apy menu inside a table cell and it has 6 sub menus. The table width is 600 so I would like to have each sub menu with width 100 and each item with the same width. I use menuWidth=100 and itemWidth=100 but it doesn't work, each menu has a different size depending on the label.
Also, each sub menu label can fit in less than 100 but I really want the width to be 100 so it looks consistant across the full menu.
What am I doing wrong ?


A: You should use individual item styles. For example:

Q: We use your deluxe menu app. We are trying to configure menu windows to a certain width. But when we configure it to a certain number of characters, the app cuts words. Is there any way to configure it, so that doesn't happens and puts that word in the lower line in the menu en javascript item?

A: Try to use the following parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

You can also use standard <br> tags within menu en javascript item's text.

Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:
