Q: I want to be able to pull information into dynamic drop down menu from the mysql database.


A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,
you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels for the xml drop down menu?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner.
There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.

A: Use the following parameter to specify align for the top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";

Q: I need to set individual itemtargets for a number of items in the navigation bar menu...

A: You can set target parameter for all items:

  var itemTarget="_blank";
or
  var itemTarget="main";

where main - is the name of the main frame where you want to open the link

or for each item individually:

Q: I'm trying to find a decent, simple, working example of a dynamically-generated DHTML Pop-up Window. Using the "Deluxe Tuner" to generate static files is unacceptable for our use. We must create pop-up menus on the fly.

I tried piecing together a working pop-up window application, but kept getting "Error! Skin Load!" and couldn't figure out what files or where to get them (or put them) for the Windows Vista Graphite skin.
