Q: I'm trying to evaluate the possiblity of using your menu in our product. Can we specify our own onclick event handler for the menu item?
A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:
var menuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:
var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];
Q: I still do not understand your answer about the simple java menu arrows, which work in preview, but not on the website. The html is correct.
A: You have
var arrowImageMain=["ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif","ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif"];
in your data js, so the arrows must be here
http://domain/ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif
you arrows is here
http://domain/menu/ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif
You can use
var pathPrefix_img="menu/";
or change paths here
var arrowImageMain=["ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif","ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif"]; --> menu/ss.files/arrow_sub5.gif
Q: it's possible to use on every Item the OnMouseOver / OnMouseOut event?
move the mouse over a Menu !!!!!!
A: Each menu items can include any html code.
So, you can include your own objects with onmouseover event, forexample:
var menuItems = [
["<div OnMouseOver='yourFunc()'>item text</div>"],
["<div OnMouseOut='yourFunc()'>item text</div>"],
];
Where yourFunc() is Javascript function.
Q: Having purchased Deluxe Menu and I am having a problem with the simple javascript menu I have created. The menu works fine when I view the html page generated by Deluxe Tuner but when I put it into my own html page the submenus are appearing above the simple javascript menu and not below as required. How do i stop this from happening please?
