Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.
  • Build menus completely based on Cascading Style Sheets. It is possible to appoint the individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu.

Q: I can see that you can have multi menus on the same page can you have multi tabs?  I did create two different tab menus and when I put them on the same page they display correctly but you cannot navigate to the required web pages.

A: You can use as many tabs on the one page as you want.

But notice that you should call dtabs.js file on each page only once.
There is no need to call it several times on the one page.

Q: Need the pricing text in the second-level css menu to be individually styled - ie needs to have colour change and float/align left.

A: You can use any html code for your menu items, so you can try to writeyour menuItems in the following way:

Q: We have a problem. If the "sub menus" open downward (in a horizontal menu) and there is Flash under it, the menu disappears. It goes BEHIND the flash and can't be seen.

Is there a fix for this?

I honestly don't recall it happening before but it now does. I probably didn't pay attention. Thank you!

Q: I need a menu system that can do one Vertical menu example in java and a completely separate Horizontal menu on the same page, no frames. Will this menu software do this?

A: Yes, you can create two menus (vertical and horizontal) and installthem on the same page. See the attached example.
