  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: The value of dmAJAXCount = 0 (we don't set that parameter).
How exactly does this parameter work? When does it have to be set?


A: That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.

If you don't know exact number of submenus you can set a big value forthis parameter.


Q: I cannot find the parameter in deluxe tabs file "data.js" for umlaute a, u. I want it to set manually.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.2.9.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example

Q: The AJAX sample for tree menu script on website does not have any styling applied at the moment.
I am assuming that it would support full styling with AJAX as well.
Is this correct?

A: You can use any style and templates for the AJAX sample.
Create a menu and set style you need using Individual Item Styles.
To enable AJAX Tree Menu use the following menu parameters:

Then set your menu in such way:

Q: It all works great under IE, but when you view it in Firefox the fly-out menus (off of Products, Services & About Us) do not appear over the Flash animation to the right in IE.

It works fine under Firefox on all other pages apart form Home, because Home is the only page with containing the Flash animation.

Could you please have a look and let us know if this is a known issue (we're using the latest 8 dmenu .js file, time-stamped 11 April 2006).
