Q: I would eventually like to be able to distribute the javascript navigation menu with some of my templates, is this permitted with the Developer license?

A: With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited numberof Internet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.

This version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.

Q: I need to set individual itemtargets for a number of menu script items......

example:-

menuitem_1 targets the Main frame..

menuitem_2 ..

   SUBmenuitem_2_(1) targets the Top frame..

   SUBmenuitem_2_(2) targets the Main frame..

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";
or
  var itemTarget="main";

Where main - is the name of the main frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:
["Home","testlink.html", "", "", "", "_blank", "", "", "", "", "", ],
...
["Home","testlink.html", "", "", "", "main", "", "", "", "", "", ],

Q: I can not figure out how to get drop-down menus to show up in the Add-Ins on my Microsoft Front Page.

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Microsoft Front Page extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menu
into your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags).

Notice also that some web editors won't display correctly javascript menus,
you should preview your website in the browser.
