Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in the dhtml drop down menu generator! I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work.
Have we a problem with Danish letters?
A: Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">
You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor, enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.
Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting inorder to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.
Q: I am working currently with deluxe-menu and am perfectly happy so far except one little thing: Does there exist a way to have the mousepointer being a hand instead of the regular pointer while going over the menu (like it would be regular links)?
A: You should set this parameter:
var itemCursor="pointer";
In this case you'll have the mousepointer being a hand for all itemsin the menu.
Unfortunately, you can't change cursor type for different items.
But you can write so:
["<a href='http://deluxe-menu.com/'>Home</a>","", , , , , , , , ],
["Product Info","", , , , , "0", , , ],
["|What's New","", , , , , "0", , , ],
In all items with links you should use <a> tag.
Set this parameter:

Q: Utilizing the drop down web menu under Internet Explorer 7, it gives me a popup of “To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restrictedthis webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer. Click here for optons….
Is there a way to bypass this popup and IE recognize it as a valid script?
A: Please, see security preferences: IE/Tool/Internet OptionsMake sure that Active content is enabled.
You should check your Security Settings.
There is no way to enable these settings automatically.
Q: We'd like to underline dhtml pop up menu items on hover but we can't do it with those spaces.
A: To set align for the one dhtml pop up menu item only you can use the following method:
instead of
["email a temp expert ","email.html", "", "", "", "", "15", "", "", "", "", ],
you can write:
["<div align=left>email a temp expert</div>","email.html", "", "", "", "", "15", "", "", "", "", ],
and set fontDecoration=none,underline style for this item:
