We would need to programatically open a particular tab.

A: No, unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.

You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.

For example:

Q: No matter where I paste the dhtml rollover I created, it shows up at the top left corner of the page.

A: Try to use relative position

Q: Is there a way to make the vertical drop down menu dhtml not reset after a link is clicked. Now every time I click a link in the tree menu it takes me to the linked page but all the menus re-expand.

A: When user clicks the link, the browser loads a new page and the script re-create the vertical drop down menu dhtml.
If you want to open the needed section automatically on load you can use the following:

Q: One question. I'm working on my site and I'm wondering why the background images disappear for a while after hovering over them, then reappear after a while.
Can you tell me how to stop this from happening?


A: ow you have such parameter:

  var itemBackColor=["#FFFFFF","#4792E6"];

The second color is the mouseover background color.
