Q: Will this menu rollout from within an iframe over a regular frame underneath it?


A: Deluxe Menu doesn't work with <IFrame> objects. They work with objects only.
All they can to do with <IFrame> is to loadpages into it.


Q: The menu maps to the width size of the longest menu item on the list, can you tell me how I can restrict this, and have a fixed menu size.

A: Unfortunately it is really so.
You can try to wrap your text.

You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap = 0;

or use <br> tags within menuItems.



Q: ["item text", "javascript:your_code_here", ...]

This won't work the java script executes when the link is clicked it is not the link itself.
Below is what I normally use and how would I incorporate that?

A: I'm not sure I understand you.
You can use

NewWindow(this.href,'name','490','400','yes');

code in an item link:

["text", "javascript:NewWindow(url,'name','490','400','yes');"]

But if you don't want that, you can just insert <a> into an item text.
