  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Can your deluxe-tree accept multiple lines and paragraphs with wrapping in the sub items, or is it for one or two line menu data only.

Q: I am now running the newest version, all ok. A new client wants to have submenus openFor the left hand menu navigation that I purchased, can I choose what dhtml tree menus will be expanded or collapsed when the user first comes to the webpage for the first time?

For instance, right now, when the user first goes to the page ALL of the menus are collapsed. If I wanted the first and third tree menus to be expanded and the others to stay collapsed when a new user first went to the page, how would I accomplish that?

A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

Q: We are looking at JavaScript libraries for our website, and we liked what we saw with your product deluxe-tabs. However, we have a need for both horizontal and vertical tabs, as well as nesting tabs. We would like the vertical (and nested tabs) to have the same capabilities and features as the horizontal tabs. We notive the vertical tab image example, but that was all we could find. Are there more extensive examples that show the same functionality as the horizontal tabs? Is the product, as is, capable of the same functionality for both vertical and horizontal tabs?


A: See, to create vertical tabs you should add '$' symbol before the itemtext in the first item of the next row.

You can use templates, add '$' symbol and adjust some parameters.


Q: However when recreating the menus after deleting all trace of the trial version and loading on the licensed version I have developed problems.

When I create menus and test using expression web on explorer it works well but when published to web the dropdown menu appear but cannot be clicked on to be diverted to the relevant links. Also since loading the licensed version when using the test browser in expression web firefox a message appears as follows     “firefox dosen’t know how to open this address, because the protocol (c) isn’t associated with any program”.

Please advise I have loaded the licence in the correct way I’m sure.
