Q: I've browsed your product, and I'm trying to determine if there is an existing template that would support a vertical flyout menu, where the static menu is one button, but when clicked on, it lays out 5 additional buttons in a straight line horizontally to the right of the static button. Is this feasible to create with your product with relative ease, and if so, what's the easiest way?

Q: I want to use

But how do I refer to tmenuItems array using itemID in the javascript?
For example, if I want to pop a link text, should I use alert(itemID[0]))?
It doesn't work.

A: You should use the following function to get item's info:

dtreet_ext_getItemParams (0, itemID);

For example:

Is it possible to open the new site in a popup in dhtml drop down menu, like 800 x 600 or something?

A: You should paste the following code inside 'Link' field of menuItems (you can do it inDeluxe Tuner):

Q: I place all of my files in folders.  If I want the Deluxe menu to work I have to have the Deluxe menu saved in each folder for it to work with the files inside those folders. 


A: There is no need to copy al files for the menu in each folder.

To install the menu you can use such paths:

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif
