Q: I have 2 questions about this script I would like to find out before purchasing:

1. Does it support 3rd and 4th level java script navigation menu?
2. How customizable is it style-wise, meaning, I have images I want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. Any way I can achieve this?

A: 1) Yes, you can add as many levels in the java script navigation menu as you want.

2) Actually you can create any java script navigation menu with Deluxe Menu. You can use Individual Styles tocreate your menu. For example:

Q: How can I add a separator to the expanding navigation bar using the dynamic functions?
It seems as though the only way to get a separator into the menu is by defining itbefore hand,
but the website I'm building will require me to reload themenus dinamically,
and I'm losing the ability to put separators on it.

A: You should add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItem (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams)
or
function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Q: I'm testing the trial version and I'm having a little problem with the state saving. Everytime it navigates to another page, it does not save the state, even with

  var tsaveState=1;

In fact, it actually opens up a different menu other than the one I originally clicked.


A: See, if you open pages (with menus) from different folder it means that you open different menus. So, when you change a state, for example, of the first menu within "newzap/" folder and then open another page with the menu within "newzap/learn/", browsers looks for another cookie file and can't find it and the second menu stays in a default state.

Try to set different

  var tsavePrefix="menu1";
  var tsavePrefix="menu2";
  var tsavePrefix="menu3";

for different menus.
That should work.
