Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

Q: It's been couple of months since I last time asked something about tree menu. I am still evaluating the software.

I have a short question. Is it possible to use CSS instead of JavaScript to tune the look and feel of the tree menu? For example I would be interested in giving menu css java item height value in relative numbers (em or %) rather than specifying a size in pixels...

A: But actually you can use 'em' and '%' units in Deluxe Tree, forexample.

Q: And another question about displaying the links code in html.

How to create a drop down menu links to be displayed in the html code for search engines to catch them, is that possible?

A: You can use search engine friendly code and install it on yourpage before you call your data file.
You'll see text links in that case.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.

Q: I have just downloaded your trial version and am trying to use java menu maker using the windows xpstyle1 template. I can only seem to get the top button showing as grey but can change colors of submenus OK. Am I missing something or is this a restriction of the trial system i.e. how do I get the top button showing the same as submenu buttons

A: Trial version of java menu maker has full functionality of the licensed version.

To change submenu colors you should change the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="#F2F3F2";

and Individual Submenu Style:

For the top items you should change Individual Item style:

Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:
