Q: As a follow up, please could you take a look at the attached images and let us know if there are any settings within the javascript drop menu files set within the previous mail that would make the 1st sub menu indent a couple of pixels when the 2nd sub menu sits correctly.

A: This is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.

space=0;



Q: Why don't any of the effects work in Firefox? I have built several different types of menus and they don't work the same in firefox as they do in IE. Is there a way to fix this? i.e. adding any html code or anything?


A: Yes, it is really so. Firefox supports only transparency of the menu.
Visual effects work in IE only. other browsers don't support them.

Q: I do not know how to prevent IE7 or IE8 displaying a security warning for the javascript dropdown menuI have created using your software. I get the warning message when I view the menu that I have created.

A: Try to set the following options in Internet Explorer:

1) Go to 'Tools -> Internet Options -> Security'
2) Select Local Intranet and then press 'Custom level...' button.
3) Run ActiveX Controls and plug-ins = Enable
Automated Prompting for ActiveX Controls = Disable

A: Try to set the following parameter for your object:
windowlessvideo="true"

So, you'll have:
