Q: I recently purchased your Deluxe-Tabs product and I am trying to create tabs that occupy 100% width with each tab being equal width.

Right now when I specify 100% menu width all of the tabs are difference sizes (widths).

How do I control the individual tab width?


A: You should use Individual Item styles to achieve this effect.

See the attached example.

You should set:

  var bmenuWidth="100%";

I have 5 items in my example, so I've created Individual Style

  var bstyles = [
["bitemWidth=20%"],
];

And assign it for all items:

But notice that items width cannot be smaller than the width of its'text. So it is possible that you'll have different size of some itemsif your window have a small size.


Q: Is it possible to put an enter in a drop down menu item?

A: You can use any html code within menuItems.

Q: Is it possible to not download (pre-load) the images in the javascript menu array (some attributes in the data.js file ..)?

I would like to download them only on rollover on the submenu... I am aware of the ajax version of the menu, but ....

A: Set the following parameter:

Q: How to include the search box in the navigation menubar?

A: Use the following javascript menu parameter to enable/disable the "search support" for the Deluxe menu:

  var dmSearch=2;

0-nosearch; 1-ordinary search (within one level of submenus only); 2-recursive (within the whole menu).

Set item's link to "search:", for example:
