Q: Hi, I am testing your menu system for my company and would like to know how to keep the menu in the centre of the page like <centre></centre>.
I know how to do it without a floating menu but cannot work out how to do this with it floating.


A: When you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: How do I make the buttons in my java navigation menu transparent?
I only want to see the letters appear in my table and not the button until I mouse over it?


A: To set transparent background for the menu you should set:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];


Q: How does the search engine stuff work. A web developer told me to stay away from java script if you want google to recognize your webpage.
Can you comfort me by telling me how it works.


A: Spiders can't read dynamically-generated Javascript code, so theycan't read menu links.
Search engine friendly means that you can add additional html codewithin your html page. You can generate such a code using Deluxe TunerGUI that you can find in the trial menu package. But if you'll use themenu without any additional html code, spider won't see menu links.


Q: Is there any way to have a floating menu float in relation to the centre of the screen (not the left of the screen).  I have a centre based website. When I use the floating menu and view the site on different screen sizes, the floating menu appears in different places on the x scale. For example,  I would like it 20 percent from the edge of my centre based webpage, not 20 percent from the left of the screen.  I want the menu to appear on the same horizontal place on my webpage (which is centre based)


A: No unfortunately it is not possible to write

  var posX="50% - 20";

You should adjust your coordinates to center the menu with absoluteposition.
