Q: There does not appear to be any information how to display the content of a selected tab for the tab menu

A: If you want to see the content below your tab menu:

you should paste your content in the <div> .. </div> tags.

<div id="content1" style=" visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">

<p align=center><img src="img/logo_DM.gif" width=262 height=56 alt="Deluxe-Menu.com"></p>

</div>

<div id="content2" style="visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">
<p align=center><img src="img/logo_DT.gif" width=262 height=56 alt="Deluxe-Tree.com"></p>
</div>

<div id="content3" style=" visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">
<p align=center><img src="img/logo_DTabs.gif" width=254 height=58 alt="Deluxe-Tabs.com"></p>
</div>

See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:

1.   var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.

["XP Tab 1","content1", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 2","content2", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 3","content3", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 4","content4", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],

2.   var tabMode=1;
You can assign only links in this mode.
You should create top level items with subitems.

["XP Tab 1","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 1_1","http://deluxe-tabs.com", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 1_2","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 1_3","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 1_4","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 1_5","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 2","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 2_1","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 2_2","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 2_3","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 2_4","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 2_5","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
["XP Tab 3","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 3_1","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 3_2","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 3_3","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 3_4","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
 ["|Link 3_5","testlink.htm", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

So, you should write for example:

 ["|Link 1_1","object:Content1_1", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],

Q: I use menu with color graphic buttons, I believe the color buttons locate in @BOOK1\@Test_BOOK1.files.
At this directory level(please look in Book1.zip), the display is OK,

However, if I click on "06) Introduction.to.Small-Signal.Amplifiers\<>>(06_IT.htm)" to move to the next level, the color buttons will not display properly.

Can I set pointer that tells file 06_IT.htm that I have "@Test_BOOK1.files" in "@BOOK1" folder?

A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Please, try to use these parameters.

Q: I am interested in Deluxe Tabs MAC Style.
However before I do I want to make sure that:

- I can change the buttons pictures on both the first row and the second row. There has to be a <img src=" " > tag in the code somewhere, correct?

- I can expand or diminish the number of buttons and links

- Also, I have a question: if I am on "Mac Tab 1" menu, and I click on "Mac Tab 2" menu without clicking on any of the links onthe second row, what is the page that I see? Do I see by default Link 2_1 or do I see some kind of generic page? In other words is there a "main" page for each tab menu and then you have the other pages which correspond to Link 2_1, Link 2_2, etc.?

- Is it possible to remember a visited sub-menu? For example I am on "Mac Tab 2/Link 2_3" and I go to "Mac Tab 4/Link 4_2" and then I come back to "Mac Tab 2". Can the main page for this "Mac Tab 2" be Link 2_3 which was my last visited link on that tab?

A: 1) No, there is no such tag - <img src=" " >

For the main items you should set such parameters:
bbeforeItemImage - left part of the item
bafterItemImage - right part of the item
bitemBackImage - center part of the item

in normal, mouseover and selected states.

And for the subitems (in MAC template) you should set onlybitemBackImage - the center part of the item.

Please, see the code of this template.

2) You can create any number of the buttons and links.

3) You can set links for main items and for the subitems.
For example:

  var bmenuItems =
[
["Mac Tab 1","http://deluxe-menu.com",,,,,,],
 ["|Link 1_1","http://apycom.com",,,,,,"0"],
 ["|Link 1_2","testlink.htm",,,,,,"0"],
 ["|Link 1_3","testlink.htm",,,,,,"0"],

So, if you click on "Mac Tab 1" you will go to http://deluxe-menu.com
And if you write so
["Mac Tab 1","",,,,,,],
no page will open.

4) This Tab menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only. If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem. You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters(  var bselectedItem,   var bselectedSmItem) or using any server-sidescript (php, asp, etc.)

Q: We are registered user of Deluxe-Menu. We find following query while usingDeluxe-Menu. We are not able to display correctly <Direction Générale> inFrench in down-navigation-menu.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.3.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example

&Eacute; - Capital E, acute accent
&ccedil; - Small c, cedilla

  var menuItems = [

["&Eacute;....","testlink.html", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["&ccedil;....","testlink.html", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
