Q: I have not been able to get the dhtml context menu - or any other Javascript - to appear. I use FrontPage2000. Any ideas?

A: See how you should install Deluxe Menu on your pages.

Deluxe Menus weren't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the dhtml context menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
http://deluxe-tree.com/installation-info.html

That's all.

It is possible that Dreamweaver changes some paths, so you havean error in the preview.
On your site or in your browser there'll be no errors.

Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any dhtml context menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML (you can't do it inthe MAC version).

Add several rows into your html page.

You should also copy all engine files

Q: I would like, that not only the text is represented differently when dhtml nav menu item is expanded, also the Icon separates before it at the side where I am.

How do I solve that?

A: You should set arrow for expanded state

Q: I replaced the code you suggested and I downloaded the current version of Deluxe-Tuner. I also removed the Javascript roll-overs I had elsewhere on the page and created the text.

I still get 'Error on page' when I hover over the first java scrolling menu item.

A: Now you have several errors in your data file:

  var menuBackColor="f9f9ec";

You should write:
  var menuBackColor="#f9f9ec";

The following parameters cannot be empty:
  var menuBorderWidth="0";
  var itemBorderWidth="0";

It is not correct to write the java scrolling menu parameter in the following way:
  var itemBorderStyle=["1px","1px"];

You should write:
  var itemBorderStyle=["none","none"];

If you want to add borders in the subitems you should write:
  var itemBorderWidth="1";
  var itemBorderColor=["#c59d1f","#c59d1f"];
  var itemBorderStyle=["solid","solid"];

And to remove border from the top items you should create Individualstyle and assign it to the top items:
  var itemStyles = [
