Q: I have been working with the trial package for the last couple of days, of which I have been really impressed with. However there have been a couple of things that have frustrated me greatly...

The natural place that I first tried was replacing the "content1" line with a direct URL in the   var bmenuItems section but this made no difference at all. I am also trying to work out what each set of "" equate to as I have found a couple of pages on the Internet very similar to this but none of them have nine different sections.

A: You can't assign links in Dhtml Tabs when you're using   var tabMode = 0;.
You can assign only the object's ID of <div> on your page.

Try to set   var tabMode = 1;
and use links for your items.


Q: I have a top horizontal menu with one level sub-menus.

I am using images for the rollover (on & off). I don’t need the generated text on the main menu, only on the submenus.

??? How do I eliminate the text and only have roll-overs?

Q: Is it possible to make the menuitems rightclickable in the latest version of Deluxemenu. I want to rightclick on the drop down menu in javascript item and choose open in new window.

A: No, there is no such a feature in Deluxe Menu v3.2.7.

You can write your item in the following way:

But you should assign style for this link.

}
A.link:hover {

Q: Whenver I choose the enable Ajax feature and set the AjaxCount to 0, my menus don't pop out anymore. How do I get it to pop out?


A: That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.

If you don't know exact number of submenus you can set a big value forthis parameter.

If you set   var dmAJAXCount=0; you cannot see you submenus.

To enable Ajax feature you should set, for example:
  var dmAJAX=1;
  var dmAJAXCount=100;
