Q: I have a popup that in one of the submenus has an input field.
There is a problem – if the user clicks into the entry field,
but moves the mouse outside the php dhtml menu,
the menu can close while the user is still typing.
Is there any way to prevent that from happening?


A: You can make submenus to stay visible till you click outside the menu or scroll your page.
To enable this feature you should set the following parameter:

  var smHidePause=-1;


Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:

Q: Is there a javascript function that I can call that will return the ID or the Text value of the currently active tab of the web navigation?

A: Unfortunately there is no such a function now.

There are such variables.

dtabs_tabs[menuN].b1 - dtabs_tabs[menuN].selectedItem
dtabs_tabs[menuN].JT0 - dtabs_tabs[menuN].selectedSmItem

But they contain the index of the selected menu item, not the ID.
