You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.
For example:

Q: Your frameset FAQ/examples seem to tackle scenarios where submenus open in frame 2. I'm interested in in the actual menu selection opening in frame 2 (menus being in frame 1). Is there some documentation I've missed?

Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.
Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

Q: Recently one of my clients apparently upgraded from Internet Explorer 6+ to 7. Along the way now apparently the javascript is no enabled.
How do I enable javascript on the new browser, and / o is there something else that I need to do in the code?
A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
