Q: Can you create/destroy tabs with only client side javascript (no return trips to the server)?
A: Deluxe Tabs is Javascript product. it means that it is executed on aclient side, not on a server side.
So, whatever server you'll use, youshould install the menu the same way.
Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.
A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:
C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\
Q: I used your trial version. In my application, I need one column of submenu to be displayed, all other columns should be closed.
A: You should adjust the following parameters, for example you should write so:
var transDuration=350; //Delay of a transitional effect (in ms) on submenu's showing.
var transDuration2=200; //Delay of a transitional effect (in ms) on submenu's hiding.
Q: I would like the button in the sub navigation bar to stay white when you navigate to a particular page..
A: Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
