Q: I am evaluating your fine menu builder application.
Please let me know the following:
a) How could I call a script instead of specifying a link?

b) If the above is possible, please let me know how, in the called script, I could know where the call to the script come from.
A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.
You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:
var menuItems = [
["text", "javascript:your_function(...)", ...]
];
Q: If I have a Menu and Tab control on the same page, how do I get the menu pop up to have a higher z-index so it displays on top on the tabs?
I want the main menu to display above the Label/Candle tab control.
A: Deluxe Tabs has z-index = 2000
Deluxe Menu has z-index = 1000
You can open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:
dmZOrder=1000
Change it to
dmZOrder=2050
Q: Java sub menu not working after upgrade to deluxe menu 3.0. Please check.
A: See, you've set the following parameter:
var transparency="0";
That is mean that your submenus will be transparent. You won't seethem.
Try to set another value, for example:
var transparency="100";
Q: Expandable javascript menu doesn't actually affect the plus/minus icon I have specified. Any ideas?
A: It is not correctly to add expand/collapse buttons into the iconfield, they won't work. You should add icons there.
To add expand/collapse buttons you should use the followingparameters:
var texpandBtn=["img/expandbtn.gif","img/expandbtn.gif","img/collapsebtn.gif"];
var texpandBtnW=14;
var texpandBtnH=14;
var texpandBtnAlign="left";
