  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

Can your deluxe-tree accept multiple lines and paragraphs with wrapping in the sub items, or is it for one or two line menu data only.

Q: Could I use the javascript menu system tab with ASP pages.

A: Deluxe Tabs is a javascript menu system. It works on aclient side and doesn't depend on server-side implementation.
So there is no limitation for server-side scripting.



Q: I use the apy menu inside a table cell and it has 6 sub menus. The table width is 600 so I would like to have each sub menu with width 100 and each item with the same width. I use menuWidth=100 and itemWidth=100 but it doesn't work, each menu has a different size depending on the label.
Also, each sub menu label can fit in less than 100 but I really want the width to be 100 so it looks consistant across the full menu.
What am I doing wrong ?


A: You should use individual item styles. For example:

Q: My site requires me to regularly update the drop down menu by inserting a new item at the top of the list.


A: Add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.

iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
This parameter has the same structure as an item in menuItems array.
You can assign parameters of another existent item of the menu
(for example, when you want to create a duplicate of the existent item) or create new ones.

Structure of iParams:
[item_text, link, icon_normal, icon_over, tip, target, individual_style_index, jsFilename]
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.
