  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Can this be accomplished with this component?

A: 1) You can use API functions to affect items dynamically:

2) Generate your menu items dynamically from database.
Unfortunately we don't have working example with ASP.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,
you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: How do I center the text in a top menu item in the dhtml menu, so that it is centered in the "box" that is clicked?

A: Try to set the following parameter ('Item Appearance' section in the main window of Deluxe Tuner):

Q: I have one more question before I purchase a license: is there a way to use images instead of text as the javascript menu object items?

A: Yes, you can create image-based menu.

If item text is empty, icon fields will be used as item images.

Q: I have tried various different ways, but I cannot get a separator image
I have specified in the Separators section of menu generator to display in.
I have verified that the image exists, but still nothing.
