Q: I am sure this is a pretty minor thing…When one of my dhtml menu dropdown items is a link to a url, is there a setting to change the cursor to a hand versus the normal arrow? Basically, I want the links of the dhtml menu dropdown items to look like most other links on any webpage.

A: Try to set the following parameter:

  var itemCursor="pointer";



Q: When I roll my mouse over my menu, it appears halfway down the page, not next to the menu. This only happens when I enclose the code in <div></div> layers. Is there a way to fix this?


A: It is possible that you have some problems with your css.

The problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add <DIV id=SiteMenu>

to the

style="position:absolute;"

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=SiteMenu style="position:absolute;">

Check that.


Q: Is there a way to change the height of the main buttons in Dhtml Menu. When I use the GUI tool there is nowhere to change the main button height. And when I tried to change it in the script file, it did me no good. I want all of the main buttons to be the same size.

A: You can use standard <img> object to set menu height, for example:

We have one problem we have implemented menu in our html page.
It works very well in IE but there is a problem in firefox.
