  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.
  • There can be multilevel menus - create as many rows of the menu as necessary. Any submenu in its turn can include different number of columns.

Q: Is there a way to convert a dhtml javascript tree menu I created into a Deluxe Menu using the same data so I do not have to type in all the names and links of items?

A: Actually menuItems and tmenuItems have a different structure.

We don't have such converter yet. You can try to change your menuItems in any text editor. I suppose it will be easier to convert items in editor than in Deluxe Tuner.

Q: I want to use a Flash icon with sound next to the menu items, is this possible?


A: Yes, you can use a flash icon in the menu items.

Q: I purchased your product yesterday and was quite impressed, but I am having a bit of a problem with my submenuitems.
In the general menu properties there is a "Global"   var titemHeight = 22;
My problem is that I would like my upper level of my drop down menu to have one itemheight and my submenuitems to have a smaller height. Is this possible?

A: In the XP Style

  var tXPStyle=1;
the item's height for the top items and submenus will be different.

If you want to use

  var tXPStyle=0;

you can set ite's height for the submenus:
  var titemHeight=16;

And for other items use the blank icon with the height you want to have for the upper level of your menu items.




Q: I would like to create my own jpeg images and use them as the mouseover-items in the top level drop down menus. I am not talking about the backround. I mean the actual upfront button.
I seem to be locked into the size which is the default and would like to change it to width = 180px and height = 45px for each item in the menu.
Is there any way to do that?


A: You should create Individual Style and assign it for all top items.
