  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I'm having difficulty understanding how to set up css drop down menus. The differences between menuStyles, itemStyles, CSS and CSSText is very unclear, and doesn't seem to be well documented.

Do you have any better documentation or writeup on using this feature?

A: No, unfortunately we don't have additional documentation. You can findall info on our site.

We have several examples of the menus using css.

You should set   var cssStyle=1; parameter and then assign your stylesto the items.

  var cssSubmenu is a CSS class name for all submenus. You can set, forexample, background color, background image, borders for all submenus.

  var cssItem is CSS class names for all items (normal state, mouseoverstate) in the top menu and submenus.

  var cssItemText is CSS class names for text of all items (normalstate, mouseover state) in the top menu and submenus.

It's possible to appoint individual CSS styles for separate elements of the menu using individual item styles and individual submenu styles.



Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\



Q: You have a great, and very intuitive and easy to learn, product.

I'm down to two dumb questions:

A. What controls the little red arrows? I'd like them on every one of the navigators.
B. How do I create equal space between the drop down menu items? It looks weird right now.

A: 1) If your top item has a submenu this arrow will appear automatically.

For the items without submenus you may write:

Q: I am trying to convert the menu from the old Apycom menu to the new Deluxe menu and getting an error

Error: 'floatable' is undefined


A: Try to add the following lines into your data file:
