Recent Questions

Q: I want to remove the "Loading...", message when using AJAX to load pull down menu nodes. This is because it does not fit in with my colour scheme and sometimes it stays there when no more nodes are loaded.

A: Open dmenu_ajax.js file in any text editor.
Find and delete the following words:

visibility="visible";

Q: After I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the tab menu, the tab defaults back to the original default tab. Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: There's a 1 pixel white padding around the css drop down menu that I'm trying to remove.

Is it a padding setting -- a margin setting -- a div setting?

A: This is a shadow.

Set the following parameter:

  var shadowTop=0;



Q: I am testing the menu under the 2nd URL however I am just receiving a blank page Why would the menu be totally blank ...not even incorrect key or trial version warnings. Does Deluxe menu need ASP installed on the server.


A: You should call dmWorkPath parameter before you call dmenu.js file.
Check also that this parameter point to the same directory withdmenu.js file. So, you should install the menu in the following way:
