Q: I'm trying to find a decent, simple, working example of a dynamically-generated DHTML Pop-up Window. Using the "Deluxe Tuner" to generate static files is unacceptable for our use. We must create pop-up menus on the fly.

I tried piecing together a working pop-up window application, but kept getting "Error! Skin Load!" and couldn't figure out what files or where to get them (or put them) for the Windows Vista Graphite skin.



A: Create a new project, choose the Windows Vista Graphite Style for it.
Save your project. Use in your html file this function to open a window for your link :

Q: I am trying to get my text within a single menu item to have text on two lines as opposed to be all on one line.
For example, I currently have CumberlandHeadElementary School all on one line of a menu. I would like to have Cumberland Head on one line and Elementary School on a line below Cumberland Head. Hope this makes some sense.

A: Try to set this parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

If it is not suitable for you, try to use <br> tags in the item text, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["please, select the color you<br>prefer for the background

Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.

I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

See the attached example. Search works fine.

You can also specify styles for the search box:
