  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: I am attempting to use the deluxe menu with frames. After click a few links the popup part of the menu stops showing up. This especially happens if the content of the main frame requires scrolling. In this case the scroll bar just flickers when I put the mouse over the menu.

Do you know why this would happen?

Please, notice also that Deluxe Menu can work within 1 frameset only.
It can't work within nested framesets. It is possible that you'll havesome errors.

The menu will work correctly in the cross-frame mode if you load pages into the sub frame from the same domain.If you load pages from another domain submenus won't be shown in the subframe - they will be shown in the frame with the top-menu.It's caused by a security policy of browsers - a script can't modify a content of pages from another domain.


Q: I cannot figure out how to make the text break into two lines.

A: You can use wrapping in Deluxe Menu.
Please, use <br> tag in your menuItems, for example:

"item<br>text"


Q: Hi There. I wanted to use your product, but couldn’t figure out how multiple users could get varying menus using the file driven approach.

I currently use a java menu that I build on the fly without any files.

The only thing I could come up with was having each user refer to his/her own data.js file, that I can build on demand.
Does that make sense to you?


A: Deluxe Menu is Javascript code only. It requires several .js files andit's generated on a client side.

Theoretically it is possible to have varying menus for multiple users.You should create your own server-side script (for example, php) thatwill change the menu for your users. The menu doesn't support such afeature.


Q: Can a menu item that expands the submenu items when selected also work as a link?

A: Actually you cannot use links for the top items in the XP Style.

But you can write:
