Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.
Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?
A: Deluxe Tree has save state feature. You should set the followingparameter:
var tsaveState=1;
Q: I'm trying to disable a javascript mouse over menu item using the MS Office style 2 template and having no luck. Can you please provide me a sample of the MS Office style 2 template that will disable an item on the menu by graying it out?
A: To disable menu item you should set "_" target for it. If you want that your disabled items have a grey color (in css-basedmenu) you should create additional style for it and assign this stylefor the disabled items: ["CSSText=toptext_dis,toptext_dis"],
Q: Is there a way to have the menu stay expanded in the same exact state when I click on a menu item of the javascript tree view and go to a new page?
A:There is no need to write additional code on a server side to remember what items were expanded/collapsed. DHTML Tree Menu can save items state automatically. Please, see the example of the menu that works with cookies: http://dhtml-menu.com/tree-examples/tree-menuxp-save-state.html
Set the following parameter:
var tsaveState = 1;
and the menu remembers its structure for each user who visit your page. Try to expand/collapse items. Then reload the page and you'll see results.
Q: How can I upgrade to Deluxe Menu v2.0? Now I'm using v1.14.
