Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: I'm am try to use your Deluxe drop down menu generator and can not get it to work..

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.

When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.

So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images("Deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), Deluxe-menu.html file anddata-Deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.

Open Deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows ofcode into your page (for example index.html page of your website).

Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

Q: Do the Vista style menus support a separator?
It seems to add some space but the separator line is not drawn.


A: Yes, you can paste a separator in the Vista style menus.

Q: Do you have an extremely simple example of modifying a dynamic drop down menus with the JavaScript API? I've played with the example on the site, but I have trouble removing the other menus without breaking it.

I just want to use the API to change the icon on the menu items.
