Q: Thanks, we tried giving   var pressedItem=0; and the script as below:

We are facing 2 problems

1) Two menus are getting highlighted, the "Home" and the dynamic html menu which is called onLoad using dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0); function)

2) The submenu of the dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0) is not getting highlighted.

A: Try to set
  var pressedItem=-2;

dm_ext_setPressedItem function has a following parameters:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)

So, if you want to highlight item in the submenu you should use itemInd of this item (notitemInd of the parent item).

For example you want to highlight submenu item of the 'Manage Users' parent item with
itemInd=15.

So you should write the function in the following way:
dm_ext_setPressedItem (0, 3, 15, 1, 1)

menuInd = 0 if you have only one menu on the page
submenuInd = 3, see how to determine submenuInd in the table

Q: I am using the deluxe menu in a cross frame set-up. The sub menu's are to be in the 'MAIN' frame. All works great until I have a php file loaded into the MAIN frame.. the sub menus will load in the parent frame.. where the main drop down menu is..

Click skip intro or wait for the site to appear… you will see the menu down the left side… if you click the second button down you will load a php blog page into the MAIN frame… then hover over the third button down and you will see the problem with the sub menu.. it works fine when other pages are loaded (click Home and then hover over the screenplay button again.

Everything is local (the blog is loaded and running for our server account)

Try to use the same domains for the menu and your content.



Q: I've browsed your product, and I'm trying to determine if there is an existing template that would support a vertical flyout menu, where the static menu is one button, but when clicked on, it lays out 5 additional buttons in a straight line horizontally to the right of the static button. Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?
