Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";

Where main - is the name of the main middle frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: I'm trying to rebuild my website with as a sponsor-show in it.

When a users clicks as sponsorimage a popup needs to appear with all the sponsor details.

Till now I've been doing this by using a standard popup window that opens a page sponsondetails.aspx?id=4

The sponsor images and the sponsor-id that goes with it are loaded from a access-database.

Is it possible to use a close popup window to display this information, and if so, how can I do this?

Q: I just noticed another problem: when I set dmObjectsCheck=1 and I click on a menu-item of the dropdown menu nothing happens! No matter whether the banner is flash or not. And no matter if the browser is IE or Firefox. As soon as I set dmObjectsCheck=0 the submenu works again.


A: You should set the following parameter

  var dmObjectsCheck=1;

You should also add dmenu_add.js file into the folder with yourdmenu.js file.

Q: I have a question:

The smHidePause = 1500

If hide is busy (during 1500), and I click somewhere else on the screen (empty place), I want the submenu to hide.

Can I make this happen?


A: Yes, you can do it.
You should use the following function to hide your submenus:

_dmsm(0);
where 0 - is index of the menu on a page >0.
