Q: We have a menu in its own dedicated table row on our website and the table row contains a background image. We want to know if we can make the background on your menu transparent so that you can see our table cell background through the menu.
We have tried using your option to put our image as your menu’s background, but then it repeats for all of the drop downs which we do not want.
We simply want the row of options to be transparent and all of the drop downs to be white.

Is this possible with your system and, if so, how would we go about making this work?


A: You can try to use these parameters:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","#1665CB"];

Or, you can use Individual Item Styles and set images only for the main items.

Try that.


Q: Does the Deluxe menu work to load pages into an iframe?
(name=iframe1) I can't find any info on this ...

A: Of course. Please, use this parameter:

  var itemTarget = "frame_name";



Q: Is there a way to change the height of the main buttons in Dhtml Menu. When I use the GUI tool there is nowhere to change the main button height. And when I tried to change it in the script file, it did me no good. I want all of the main buttons to be the same size.

A: You can use standard <img> object to set menu height, for example:

Q: I would like two level of tabs i.e.

Tab 1 entertainment

Opens up another level of tabs
Tab 1_2 movies with information displayed in the tab not on new page
Tab 1_3 music with information displayed in the tab not on new page
Tab 1_4 tv and so on...


A: Unfortunately, you cannot do it using Deluxe Tabs in TabMode. Youcannot use object ID to show in TabMode, only links.

You can use 2 menus:
