I don't know what's happenning I followed the instructions that you describe in your installation process. I'm using the menu in a jsp page.


A: Now on your page you have only search engine friendly code for Deluxe Menu. You do not have menu.

You should paste also such lines, for example:

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/dmenu.js"></script>

and

<script type="text/javascript" src="deluxe-menu.files/data.js"></script>

Where data.js is the file with your menu. You can create such file using Deluxe Tuner.

You should upload this files on your server in the correct place.


Q: I am having great problems making my tab working, I seems to select the second tab by default.

I have looked in your frequent asked questions and tried the below suggestion, I have not used the registered domain as I am in the process of design.

Where 3 is the number of your menu item from the   var bmenuItems parameter.

A: Now you have shadow the submenus only, if you want to have shadowfor the top items you should set the following parameters:

You can see the shadow in Internet Explorer 5+ only.

Q: I am setting up a 3 tab script and each tab opens a new page but the state of the javascript tab menu selected reverts back to the default tab.а Howdo I keep the tab selected when advancing to the next tab (new page)?

A: You should change the selected tab depending on the page you are now.

This Tabs menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only. If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem. You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters(  var bselectedItem) or using any server-side script (php, asp, etc.)

Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

So, you can set "bselectedItem" parameter based on your link beforeyou call data.js file.

For example, move "bselectedItem" parameter from data.js file to yourcode.
