I erased the first color number from the list and that worked, but when I scrolled the mouse over the links, the background stayed light blue even though the mouse was no longer over them. Is there a way to let the background start transparent, turn light blue when the mouse is over it, then go back to transparent after the mouse is off it?

A: You can use transparent parameter, for example:

Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels in the menu java script?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner. There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.

A: Use the following parameter to specify align for the top items:

Q: How can I use Danish characters in my dhtml menu bars?

A: You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode. So, you
should set UTF-8 encode on your page too

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html"charset="UTF-8">

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off
"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manually
change your letters in any text editor.



Q: Thank you for the information and especially for your good explaination of the ways DHTML and Java work with menus. I want to get a menu because I was asked to base a new web site on one that used 'showpage.asp' calls to createtheir menus. Can you throw some light on how I would go about doing that?


A: Deluxe Menu and Java Menus work on aclient side only and they don't depend on the server which you'reusing and they don't work on a server side as ASP.NET script.So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .asp page.
