  • You can set the size of the menu in pixels, percent or other units. The menu may have an absolute or relative position (it can be inserted into the table).
  • Use any necessary font of any color, size and font decoration. Create any available type, thickness and color of a menu's frame.Choose any color for backgrounds of submenus and items.
  • Specify various values for padding and spacing for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: We'd like to underline dhtml pop up menu items on hover but we can't do it with those spaces.

A: To set align for the one dhtml pop up menu item only you can use the following method:

instead of

and set fontDecoration=none,underline style for this item:

Q: I want to have the pop up window display as you mouse over an image/link - is this possible?

A: For example you want to open a popup onMouseover, onClick or
onMouseout on a link.

So, you should create a link on your page and set id="" for it, forexample:

<a href="javascript:;" id="link">Open popup OnClick</a>
<a href="javascript:;" id="over">Open popup OnMouseover</a>
<a href="javascript:;" id="out">Open popup OnMouseOut</a>

In Deluxe Tuner you should set:
onMouseOver - over
onMouseOut - out
onClick - link

So you'll have

deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent(win,',,onClick=link,onMouseOver=over,onMouseOut=out,')



Q: I've added a tab menu to a site but I want to know
how to get the active tab to stay a certain color in the html tabs menu
when you're on that tabs page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
based on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parameters
from your data file to your code.

Q: If you look at my page in IE 7, the position of the submenus is too far over to the left from drop down menu. It is fine in Firefox.

A: Try to set exact width for the menu:
