A: You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files,
so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: I have one more question. I built the menu using Deluxe Tuner.
I cannot find where to change the mouse over color from blue to something more appropriate in my drop down menu templates. Can you tell me where to do this?


A: You should change the second color in the following parameter:

  var itemBackColor=["#FCEEB0","#65BDDC"];


Q: I found some strange things while positioning the javascript hide menu. Does javascript hide menu behave different depending on where you are hosting your site?

A: Deluxe Menu is a Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you're using.

I want to get a menu because I was asked to base a new web site on one that used 'showpage.asp' calls to createtheir menus. Can you throw some light on how I would go about doing that?


A: Deluxe Menu and Java Menus work on aclient side only and they don't depend on the server which you'reusing and they don't work on a server side as ASP.NET script.So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .asp page.
