Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
  I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out.  Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

Q: I have the following problem. I've set target parameter to "_self".
But my html files still opens in a new window.


A: Please, check the following parameters:
  var itemTarget="_self"; //default target

You can set target parameter for each item.

See menuItems parameter:

Q: I have just bought the software and created a first menu.

As you can see the sub-menus appear away for the menu/navigation bar.

This doesnТt happen when I put the code into an .html file without any divs.

Can you suggest what the problem might be here?


A: The problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add <DIV id=nav_bar_main>

to the

style="position:absolute;"

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=nav_bar_main style="position:absolute;">

Check that.


Q: How can I get an image to be a separator in between items on my css vertical drop down menu?

A: To add a separator you should
