Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: I'm interested in buying your products. I have no experience in programming, only know html/php. How easy would it be to set up these down vertical menu items? I understand your explanation of copying scripts into the relevant html pages. But what about inserting the menus? Do I have to program them myself?

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial now. We'll try tocreate it in the nearest time.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.

Deluxe Tuner v2.4 supports Deluxe Menu (http://deluxe-menu.com) &Deluxe Tree (http://deluxe-tree.com) & Deluxe Tabs (http://deluxe-tabs.com)

You can use ready to use templates. You can find them in the templateswindow.

When you open Deluxe Tuner ( Deluxe Menu ) you can click "File/New"and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML (you can't do it inthe MAC version).

You should also copy all engine files

into "deluxe-menu.files/" folder. You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index. html page.



Q: Just purchased the license for deluxe-menu.

The javascript submenu do not go over top of my other elements like the FAQ says it should.

A: Now you have the following style Z-INDEX: 2000; for .titleTopCenterDIV.

The menu has lower index in that case.

Try to set it to
Z-INDEX: 10;



Q: What I would like is a link inside the popup window that closes the mouseover popup window. I tried moving the "close" link from the main page into the popup window html but I get a Javascript error when I click on that link.

A: See, if you load a different page in your popup window (iframe) suchlink won't work in it.

If you add the content of the mouseover popup window in DIV (so, it will be thesame page) such link will work.

Q: Everything is working quite well -- with the following exception:

I added a button.gif file to my item, hoping that the graphic would appear rather than just a colored cell. (Yes, I did upload the button.gif file to the .files folder.)

My work looks great in the preview window, but still shows the colored cells in my web page (www.misyssbm.com/buy/index.php left side menu). My text changes show up on the web page, so I know it was updated.

Any ideas (note I have two deluxe menus)?


A: You should check all your images paths.
You should also upload these files on your server in"side_menu.files/" folder.
I've tried to download "side_menu.files/btn_navy.gif" but I can't doit.
Please, check it.
