Q: I recently purchased your Deluxe-Tabs product and I am trying to create tabs that occupy 100% width with each tab being equal width.

Right now when I specify 100% menu width all of the tabs are difference sizes (widths).

How do I control the individual tab width?


A: You should use Individual Item styles to achieve this effect.

See the attached example.

You should set:

  var bmenuWidth="100%";

I have 5 items in my example, so I've created Individual Style

  var bstyles = [
["bitemWidth=20%"],
];

And assign it for all items:

But notice that items width cannot be smaller than the width of its'text. So it is possible that you'll have different size of some itemsif your window have a small size.


Q: We want to create a hyperlink (lets say google.com) to the item (eg. Industry,International Airlines etc) and display it in the dataframe.

For eg On clicking the 'International Airlines', the hyperlinked content should be displayed on the DataFrame along with expanding the navigation items. Right now it just expands the navigation , but the link doesn't work.

The hyperlink works fine for the subitems. We want to do the same for the main items as well.


A: You can write your top items in the following way:

Q: Is there a way to have the sub menus open to the left instead of the right?


A: You should set the following parameter:

Q: I have a question:

The smHidePause = 1500

If hide is busy (during 1500), and I click somewhere else on the screen (empty place), I want the submenu to hide.

Can I make this happen?


A: Yes, you can do it.
You should use the following function to hide your submenus:

_dmsm(0);
where 0 - is index of the menu on a page >0.
