  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: I see you have a right click in expanding menu javascript, is this function available in Deluxe Menu?


A: Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick/onContextMenu event to each item.

However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

  var menuitems = [
["<div onContextMenu='your_code_here'>item text</div>", ""]
];


Q: We are implementing your licensed drop down menu in dhtml on our new site and it does not appear to work in Firefox.

A: Now you have:

  var transparency="";
it is not correct.
You should set, for example:
  var transparency="100";

Try also to set:

  var itemPadding="0px 15px 0px 15px";



Q: Is it possible to make on top of the javascript expandable tree 2 extra buttons:

* Expand all
* Collapse all

Which command do I use???

A: Tree Menu doesn't have such a feature now.

You can write your own function based on the following API functions:

function dtreet_ext_showItem (itemID, visibility)

Q: Trialling your menu maker. Was trying to get the tabs dhtml menu bulder working,but it gives me the error "Tabs[...].id is null or not an object" within the program and under IE7, but not under Mozilla Firefox. Obviously the tabs will be used on my website, of which 80-90% of traffic is MS-IE.

Do you know about this problem, and is there a fix. This will be a major stumbling block against me buying the product if this problem is not fixable.
