I have to offset the topDX by -150 and so on just to fudge it into a CLOSE position…it certainly doesn’t mirror the preview window


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your

css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="position:absolute;"

to the

<DIV id=navholder>

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=navholder style="position:absolute;">


Q: I would like to add your tree structure to my web page. I need to know if I can add substantial data to the expanded tree structure, for instance:

And here is the expanded content that takes up three paragraphs and
wraps itself etcetera all about product A

Can your deluxe-tree accept multiple lines and paragraphs with wrapping in the sub items, or is it for one or two line menu data only.

Q: I have a problem. How can we get the value of a parameter passed by the menu, when a menu item is clicked? For example I want to get the URL or file name to be open by the menu item when it is clicked.

A: If you want to open url or a file when you click on items of the tree menu you can write, for example:

Q: Is it possibly that menu dynamic remembers the last action if I go to previous page?(so the menu stays fault out)
I know TreeMenu does this, but I want to use DeLuxeMenu

A: Deluxe Menu doesn't save state as Deluxe Tree.

But you can set pressed item on each page with Deluxe Menu using
dm_ext_setPressedItem () funtion.
