Q: I am trying to create a multicolumn dhtml navigation menu and nothing appears when I upload it to my server. I am attaching my menu called menu.js that I have created and placed in a folder called menudir.

Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/dmenu.js"></script>

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.Q: How do I open a PDF document in a new window? Is this in the Item Parameters window?
A: You can specify target parameter for each item
["|Open file","file.pdf", "", "", "", "_blank", "", "", "", ],
If you want to use context menu you can try to write your menuItems in the following way:
["|<a href='file.pdf' target='_blank'>Open file</a>","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
But you should create correct style for <a> tag.
Q: I appreciated your prompt response. However, if I set the exact height for easy tabs content, certain tab's content will not show up fully. We need to have every tab has different height in this site. Do you know why IE 7 doesn't behavior properly but IE 6 does? Can you provide a work around for me ASAP?
A: In that case you should delete height parameter at all from yourstyles.
<div id="content1" style="visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">Q: I am in the process of evaluating the deluxe-menu product V3.2.7.16 and have created a simple HTML using the deluxe-menu Vista Style #6. This works great and displays with the animation in IE and also using FireFox V2 with IE tabs.. However, in basic FireFox and Safari, the javascript menus display but without the swirling animation. Pls advise !!
A: Filters and transitional effects are features of Internet Explorer5.5+ only.
