Q: Though, once I click on a link, the page will load properlyin the correct frame, but the next time I hover over that dhtml menu link again, I get a Permission Denied error.

A: It is possible that your links are incorrect.

If you open links situated in the different folders on your serveryou'll get error.

You can try to use absolute paths for your dhtml menu links:

  var pathPrefix_link="http://domain.com/";

You can also send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.



Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:

Q: I have another question concerning pop-up windows. If I do the following:

1) Use the Deluxe Tuner to create a pop-up window.

2) Change the location of the gif, css, and js files from all of them being within "deluxe-popup-window.files" to the files being in separate directories and

3) Update the "deluxe-popup-window.js" file and the "jaw_skin_windowsvista_graphite.css" file so that they contain the new directory locations

Will the html window function properly? Thanks for the help.

A: If you change all paths in jaw_skin_windowsvista_graphite.css and deluxe-popup-window.jsfiles correctly your popup window should work fine.

Q: By the way, this is an issue at your site, too...

Have a look at

FireFox - when hovering over the Product Info or Samples buttons, the Deluxe Menu flash element disappears behind the drop-down menu.

I notice this pages states: "If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object the latter will be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.".


A: Unfortunately, it is really so.
Now there is no work around for this.
We'll try to fix this bug in the future version of Deluxe Menu.
