Q: My sub menus are not rendering correctly in IE8 RC1 when my Vista machine is set to 120 dpi. I did not notice this as a problem until I installed RC1 today.

A: The menu works correctly in IE8 RC1 (120 dpi), if your browser image any font incorrectly(Tahoma in that case) the menu couldn't correct this.

It is possible that the reason is in the filters. You can try to turn off filters orchange font:

Q: I'm using the deluxe-tree. On the top of the tree there is a title. When I click on the title of expandable tree the whole menu collapse. How can I disable this option?

I want to keep the collapse option when I click on the collapse button but not when I click on the title. I'm using the Xp style1 and I also want to keep the aspect of this title.

Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

My question is:
Can you have borders around the sub-menus only. If you can how is this done, if it is done in the individual styles can you walk me through that. I tried it there but for some reason it wasn’t working. I'm thinking I wasn’t selecting the correct item to edit.


A: You should create Individual style and assign it to the first item in each submenu.
