Q: We have a menu in its own dedicated table row on our website and the table row contains a background image. We want to know if we can make the background on your menu transparent so that you can see our table cell background through the menu.
We have tried using your option to put our image as your menu’s background, but then it repeats for all of the drop downs which we do not want.
We simply want the row of options to be transparent and all of the drop downs to be white.
Is this possible with your system and, if so, how would we go about making this work?
A: You can try to use these parameters:
var menuBackColor="transparent";
var itemBackColor=["transparent","#1665CB"];
Or, you can use Individual Item Styles and set images only for the main items.
Try that.
Q: I need your help. I built a menu with your software, and I followed all your instructions on placing it on my web page, but it's not working. The drop down menu in javascript will not go into its table cell. I have a flash banner in the cell above it, and the menu seems to be behind that banner, but the menu is not even inside the table.
I also tried placing the drop down menu in javascript on another page where I do not have a flash banner, but it doesn't show up at all.
A: You've set absolute position for the drop down menu in javascript
var absolutePos=1;
var posX="100px";
var posY="200px";
You should set:
var absolutePos=0;
var posX="0px";
var posY="0px";
Q: We just bought your product suite including deluxe tabs control. For some reason that the tabs onload is not working in IE 7 only. It works in IE 6 and FF, Chrome and Safari. Attached is the sample page which will show the problem. I also attached our receipt of order for your reference.
Pleae help me to figure out what is the problem with my code ASAP.
A: Try to set exact height for your content DIV. Change height:0%; to height:200px;

Q: Irene, thank you. I am working on seeing what you did and trying to get it to work on my computer. I keep getting ActiveX blocking errors when open page with the drop down menu source code on my computer. Is this something I can control from within the html code? Or is this something each user is going to have to change setting(s) in their IE Internet Options?
p.s., I had the code on the page twice cuz was just trying to get something... anything.... to work. I deleted the 2nd set which was further down on the page. I'm trying to get the menus to appear in the grey band just below the blue heading section but prior to the white text description section. And, once I get the menus to work, the navigation bar on left will be deleted. Thank you so much for your patience and help!
A: You can get the following message
"To help protect your security in IE ..."
on your local machine only. You won't have such message when you openyour website via Internet.
If you don't want to see this message you should do the followingthings:
Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/
and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".
Close Internet Explorer and open it once again.
There will be no such message any more.
