Q: For the last two days I've been trying the above product, and I'm very impressed with its flexibility and features, and I'm about to buy it, I have only one question that I couldn't figure out the answer.
I'm using the Navigation BAR TABS. What should I do in order to link one of the horizontal drop menu tabs to the following object 'BLOG' as in the following example / piece of code. (When the user selects one specific tab, a blog should be displayed.
I'm looking towards your reply, as it seems your product is quite fit to perform the job in a straightforward manner.
A: See in Deluxe Tabs there is two modes:
1. var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')
So, you should write for example:

Q: Now I experiences a problem with the Danish letters in the dhtml drop down menu generator! I have changed the letters in the scriptfile - but this does not work.
Have we a problem with Danish letters?
A: Notice that you should have UTF8 charset on your page too:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html" charset="UTF-8">
You can also use another charset on your html page and open your data file in text editor, enter thissymbols and save data file in the way you save your html page.
Notice that you should turn off "Tools/Use utf8 encode" setting inorder to open your data file correctly in Deluxe Tuner.
Q: We have been using a free javascript for a couple of years but now we would like to have a functionality that our existing js is missing.
Basically, we need the ordinary tree view javascript with "+" and "-" that highlights the node clicked. No problem with that I suppose... BUT, we have a bunch of pages with internal links, linking the visitor to other pages within the site (i.e. they don't have to use the leftside tree navigation). What I want is that the navigation js recognizes that a page loads without any node has been clicked, and automagically expands the nav tree and highlights the node for that page.
No AJAX, no XML, no php or asp, just plain HTML + JS is a requirement from our customers.
Is that possible with any of your products...?

I have 2 menus side by side and I was able to set the pressed item with the JavaScript API as described in your FAQs but when I try to show an item as pressed in a second menu on the same page, the corresponding item in the first menu shows as pressed. Is there a different function that I can use for this or a way to reset the menu ID in the second menu to start from where the first menu left off so I can use the same function?
A: See the first parameter in
dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
function is index of the menu.
So, if you use several menus on the one page you should use differentmenuInd parameter.
For example you have:
