  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I'm using the deluxe-menu software on a asp.net 2.0 site that utilizes master-pages. On everypage that is in the root directory the javascript for menu loads fine, but if the page is up a directory the main images for the menu don't display.

A: Try to use absolute paths, for example:

Q: Is your dhtml menu software compatable with xsite pro?


A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/XSitePro extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage/XSitePro
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html

Q: In IE7 I see the deluxe-menu.com link on the top and no horizontal menu items on my page.

In Firefox it will work fine.

Can you help me to get the Solution?

A: Your browser has JavaScript option disabled.
It means that no one JavaScript element can be run.
You should to enable JavaScript in IE:
Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom level... -> Scripting -> Active Scripting = Enable

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

You can use search engine friendly code, so you'll see all yourlinks (for the main items and submenus) when your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript.

Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:
