Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

A: Deluxe Tree has save state feature. You should set the followingparameter:

Q: Do you support keyboard shortcuts (up/down through javascript for drop down menu)? I couldn't find an example of that.

Also, this one from OpenCube (exploding submenus) runs on Firefox too. No way to get that in yours?

A: No, Deluxe Menu doesn't support transitional effect in Firefox. Thereis no way to do it in the current version of the menu. It is possiblethat we'll add this feature in the next versions.

Use the following parameter to enable keystrokes support:

Q: Can I just ask what the maximum KB size should be for a Data.js file for a webpage?

At the moment Vehicle_data_2.js is 24.7KB and growing as I add more data, what would you recommend as the largest size to sensibly use?


A: 24.7KB is the normal size of the file. But if you think that it isvery large you can try to use AJAX-technology to divide this file.
