Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.

Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.



Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:

Q: If I don't set   var tabMode=1 instead of   var tabMode=0 in drop menu maker the links will not work at all.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:
1.   var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.
