Q: I bought on September 28th the complete pack Deluxe after having tried it for an application which is not a site but which contains HTML pages and drop-down menus which were made with deluxe tree.

I deleted the trial version and installed the definitive version.

I placed the key the   var key = "XXXXXXXXX; in each of my menus (three in everything) and I replaced dtree.js, dtree_add.js and dtree_dyn.js by those of the new version in each directory

Now when I relaunching I have an incorrect key which appears in the top of the menus...

Why?

Is these key has a relationship with the name of the site indicated during the order? By reading again the information I indicated the name of my site but it is not for this site that I wished the menu drop down, only for this application which has no precise name...

A: See, you should register the menu for a domain name or for IP address.
In other words, you should register the menu for the domain name thatyou print in a browser's search string, for example:

http://intranet/
http://klinikum-nuernberg/
http://192.168.0.1
http://localhost

But you menu won't work on a local machine, for example
j:\Stationshandbuch\start.html
with Single or Multiple licenses.

If you want to use the menu with an application that doesn't have afixed domain name you should buy Developer License.

With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited number of Internet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.This version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.

Q: I can't seem to get the floating function to work for a image tab menu.

A: Notice, your tree menu won't float with relative position. You shouldset:

  var tabsolute=1;

Q: Can you tell me the difference between a target and a link.

Also can you explain what self, blank, top, parent, search and custom mean in the javascript menu table please.

A: Link is the url you want to open when you click on the javascript menu table item.

Target controls where you'll open your link:
"_self" - open link in the same window
"_blank" - open link in the new window
"_parent" - will load the linked document where the inner frameset file had been
"_top" - loads the linked document in the topmost frame
custom - you should write here the name of the frame where you want to
open the linked document, for example:
"framename"
"_search" - this target causes the link to load in the browser's Search pane. (Internet Explorer 5.0 and later.)

Q: Could you please help me with coding of the submenu box in your java script dropdown menu?
I hope you can see images I've included in this email.
I want to put a large block of text in the submenu.
Now I can do it like the code shown here and it wraps and works OK.
["Text display","", "", "", "", "", "0", "0", "", ],
 ["|Text Line 1 Text Line 1Text Line 1Text Line 1<br>text Line 2text Line 2text Line 2text Line 2<br>Text line 3Text line 3Text line 3Text line 3<br>text line 4text line 4text line 4text line 4text line 4", "", "", "", "", "", "", "0"],
];

The problem is that if I want a large amount of text, the line of code with text in it will be 10 miles long. Please note the line of code above isn't broken in practice. The email wraps it.

Is there any way to break the code into lines instead of one very long line?
For example:

["Text display","", "", "", "", "", "0", "0", "", ],
 ["|Text Line 1 Text Line 1Text Line 1Text Line 1<br>
Line 2text Line 2text Line 2text Line 2<br>
Text line 3Text line 3Text line 3Text line 3<br>
text line 4text line 4text line 4text line 4text line 4", "", "", "", "", "", "", "0"],
];

No matter what way I try It won't work
Is there a way?

A: The only way to do that is

 ["|Text Line 1 Text Line 1Text Line 1Text Line 1<br>"+
"Line 2text Line 2text Line 2text Line 2<br>"+
"Text line 3Text line 3Text line 3Text line 3<br>"+
"text line 4text line 4text line 4text line 4text line 4", "", "", "", "", "", "", "0"],
];
