Q: When using the Deluxe-Tabs, the second tab seems to be the first selected tab when displaying tabs in a page. Is there a way to set the default tab showing on a page load?


A: You should use the following parameter:

  var bselectedItem = 3;

Where 3 is the number of your menu item from the   var bmenuItemsparameter.

The ID of the item starts with 0.

Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">


Q: I need to create a link drop down menu for a site that has the top level menuhave no border but I want any of the sub menu popups to have aborder around them (or a different background color for the menuarea for the popup). I can not see a way to do this? If a put a menu border on it appears on both the top level and any submenu popups.

A: You should set the following parameters:

1)   var menuBorderWidth=0;
2) Create Submenu Style

You can do it in Deluxe Tuner. Click "Edit Individual Styles" and thenchoose "Submenu Styles" tab.

3) Assign Individual Style for your submenus.
You can assign them only for the first item in each submenu.

You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable()

}

to disable your items.
