  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: How can I manage that the last clicked javascript expanding tree item stays tree highlighted?

A: We have the following API function to highlight the pressed item in Deluxe Tree
function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

But unfortunately this function doesn't work for AJAX submenus.

We'll try to add this feature soon (using save state feature).

Q: Why don't any of the effects work in Firefox? I have built several different types of menus and they don't work the same in firefox as they do in IE. Is there a way to fix this? i.e. adding any html code or anything?


A: Yes, it is really so. Firefox supports only transparency of the menu.
Visual effects work in IE only. other browsers don't support them.

Q: So, I am still interested if there is a dynamic way to rebuild (and restructure) a menu w javascript, just for interest.

A: No, unfortunately it is not possible to rebuild the menu withoutreloading of the page now. We'll add this feature in the next versionof the menu.



Q: Can I have the pop-out items in the dhtml menu bar go left instead of right. Going right they run off the page.

A: You should use the following parameter (Deluxe Tuner->Positioning):
