  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: For some reason all of the menu items are squished together when I put the js code in my page.
Is my site's CSS overriding the ones set in the menu css? If so how do I get around this?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css


Q: I need a menu system that can do one Vertical menu example in java and a completely separate Horizontal menu on the same page, no frames. Will this menu software do this?

A: Yes, you can create two menus (vertical and horizontal) and installthem on the same page. See the attached example.



Q: Would it be possible at some point to introduce more font decoration options to the mouseover variables, I would like to add bold as a mouseover font decoration, but obviously this is not possible at the moment.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature. You can onlyset it's color. You cannot set the font of menu item bold when selected.

Q: One intern design a menu for us using MenuTuner that we bought however Menu doesn’t work in Firefox or netscape.
It works fine in Internet Explorer.
Can you help? I’m attaching the zip file which you can extract and open index.html to see what’s wrong.


A: Try to specify units in "px".

It's necessary to specify exact value for Mozilla browsers. It helpsto position menus correctly.

You should set this parameter:
