Q: The first is that for some reason my item separator image will not show. I have tried everything.. and no matter what I do the image will not show. I designed a graphic that is 2 pixels high and is the width of the total menu. The first problem is that the graphic wont show at all.. and I do not know why. Secondly, I am now thinking that I would like to use the separator graphic on all levels of the menu.. but this creates a another issue.. as the width of the submenus varies based on the length of the text displayed. How then can I have a separator image work in the submenus?


A: Try to write you Item Styles so:

Q: I'm trying out Deluxe Menu with my site, but I've hit a snag with alignment. My menu bar is located at the top of my page, in a 750px-wide div. I'd like to nest the nav menu in that div, but right-align it so the menus are stuck to the right side of the div. Is that possible with your menu system? If so, can you give an example of how I would accomplish it?

Q: Now on IE for Windows, the menus disappear as I roll over them, though not always.
I'd say 90% of the time they fade away as my cursor crosses them.
10% they stay and I can get a good click.

On Safari, they work great.

You should set, for example:
  var smShowPause=200;
  var smHidePause=1000;

Try that.


Q: How can I open the links that I created for the items /sub-items on the same window
for the mouseover menu (not on a new window)?

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
