Q: What I try to make is a menu dhtml with items having a border of only 1 px, also between the menu items. However it seems that Deluxe menu draws a 1 px line around every menu item giving an effective border line of 2 px between the area where the items touch each other. I want to have 1 px border also on the areas where the items touch each other.
Any suggestion how to fix this?


A: If you want to have the 1px border between the items only you canuse separators.

Q: I'm testing the trial version and I'm having a little problem with the state saving. Everytime it navigates to another page, it does not save the state, even with

  var tsaveState=1;

In fact, it actually opens up a different menu other than the one I originally clicked.


A: See, if you open pages (with menus) from different folder it means that you open different menus. So, when you change a state, for example, of the first menu within "newzap/" folder and then open another page with the menu within "newzap/learn/", browsers looks for another cookie file and can't find it and the second menu stays in a default state.

Try to set different

  var tsavePrefix="menu1";
  var tsavePrefix="menu2";
  var tsavePrefix="menu3";

for different menus.
That should work.


Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:

Q: I am trying to make the tabs all the same width and would like to know how to do that. Therefore "Personal", "Account Summary", "Tax Exemptions", "Password", "Invoices", "Quotes", "VOIP" - I need them to all be the EXACT SAME width.
