Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

A: Deluxe Tree has save state feature. You should set the followingparameter:

Q: First, i like the time I save with this program, but it isn't going to help me that much if I can't put the menu where I want it on my page.

No matter how I set the "positioning", it shows up in exactly the same place over and over. I've put it in table cells, I've given it absolute positioning... none of it matters.


A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div> or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

Please, set exact value for   var menuWidth parameter, for example:

  var menuWidth = "600px";
This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".
Set also:
  var absolutePos = 0;

Try that.


Q: Dreamweaver navigation bar disappearing behind flash file in Firefox..

A: You should add "opaque" parameter for and tags.

Submenus will overlap flash correctly in that case.



Q: I have just purchased your Deluxe Menu multi site license and I'm really enjoying it. I've been able to tweak a menu tree template to achieve the plain and simple expandable menu that I was looking for. However, I do have one quick question. My drop down menu in java script is overlapping some of my page content in both IE and Firefox. I've had the absolute positioning option turned off and on and the menu links still overlap. In Firefox they even move the page content quite a bit. I'm still playing around with it I just thought I would email for suggestions. Any help or tips you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
