A: You should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.


Q: Hello, I’ve set my menus up so that they are positioned on my page within a container div (not using the positioning built into the menu script).

I am also trying to use the autoscroll feature as some of the submenus are quite long. The autoscroll doesn’t seem to work with the css positioning though.

I also tried to size the submenus to force them small and thus to scroll with no luck.

The scrolling works fine when I pull the menus out of the container div and just place them in the flow of the page.

Am I doing something wrong or are these two features incompatible with each other.


A: Unfortunately, it is really so. Submenu scrolling doesn't work with css. We'll try to fix it in the future versions.

You can try to use multicolomn submenus.

Q: I would like to use your menu for a website I am building of which will only exists on a CD ROM.

Is it possible to purchase a license that will operate the html drop down menu on a CD ROM preventing the ‘Incorrect license’ message from appearing?

A: To use Deluxe Menu on CD/DVD you should buy developerlicense. Other licenses allow you to use the html drop down menu on Internet/Intranetwebsites only.



Q: What I would like is a link inside the popup window that closes the mouseover popup window. I tried moving the "close" link from the main page into the popup window html but I get a Javascript error when I click on that link.

A: See, if you load a different page in your popup window (iframe) suchlink won't work in it.

If you add the content of the mouseover popup window in DIV (so, it will be thesame page) such link will work.
