You can try to use API functions in that case:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

To disable items you should set the target parameter to "_".

You can try to use the following function

function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(0, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}

to disable items in your javascript text menu.



Q: This is probably a really basic question, but I was wondering if
your dhtml menu maker makes it possible to determine the direction of the
drop down menu. In other words, my menu is at the bottom of the page
and I want the drop down list to actually go "up," not down.
Is that possible with your software?

Can your deluxe-tree accept multiple lines and paragraphs with wrapping in the sub items, or is it for one or two line menu data only.
